Key Components

The architecture of Digitalabs is built on several key components that work together to create a seamless, decentralized cloud infrastructure. These components include Data Centers, Investors, Providers, and End-Users. Each plays a crucial role in maintaining the platform's efficiency, scalability, and overall performance.

1. Data Center

The Data Center is the backbone of Digitalabs' infrastructure. It encompasses the physical hardware (GPU/CPU clusters) as well as the software layers, including the management and operating systems that coordinate resource allocation and service delivery.

- Management System: This oversees the coordination and operation of all hardware resources, allocating computational power where needed, and ensuring efficient use of resources across the platform.

- Operating System: Each data center runs a tailored OS that manages the interaction between users and the physical infrastructure. It virtualizes the underlying hardware to provide smooth service delivery.

- Hardware: Digitalabs' globally distributed physical infrastructure, made up of high-performance GPU/CPU clusters, powers the platform. These resources are virtualized and tokenized into Virtualized Cluster Shares (VCS), allowing users to own and access physical compute resources.

2. Investors

Investors are individuals who participate in the Digitalabs ecosystem by minting VCS NFTs. Once they mint and hold these NFTs, investors gain fractional ownership of real-world high-performance hardware. Their role is largely passive—they don’t need to manage the infrastructure directly but receive benefits such as:

- 90% share in the revenue generated from the rented resources of their clusters.

- Priority access to token incentives and airdrops.

3. Providers

Providers are individuals or businesses that contribute computational resources to the Digitalabs network. These are typically individuals or businesses with underutilized GPU/CPU hardware that can be integrated into the Digitalabs infrastructure. Providers make their resources available for tasks such as AI training, gaming development, and data processing, and in return, they receive 100% of the revenue generated by renting out their compute power.

4. End-Users

End-Users are the customers on the demand side of the Digitalabs platform. When a user submits a request for resources, Digitalabs' autonomous infrastructure management system processes the demand and allocates the necessary resources from the available pool. This ensures that users receive the exact service they need from the most geographically and technically appropriate clusters, enabling efficient, low-latency operations. End-users can pay for these services through a variety of decentralized payment solutions, including cryptocurrencies.
